Amazon has put the paperback edition of GROUP SIX AND THE RIVER on sale for just $8.54, a 53% savings off the regular price.

We don’t know when this sale will end. Our publisher tells us that Amazon does this randomly, with no indication of how long the title will be on sale. We just checked, and it is good today (Tuesday, Dec. 20), but we can’t guarantee it will still be good tomorrow. So if you’ve been meaning to pick up a copy, or give one as a gift, take advantage of this deal! If you’re an Amazon Prime member, you can still get it before Christmas.

Casper Comic Con, Day 1

Today was our first experience having a booth at an expo, and Casper Comic Con was a great place to start. When we weren’t chatting with people about Ron’s book (and selling more than we expected), we never lacked for entertainment. A large portion of the crowd was in costume, and had done a lot of work to get their looks right. The parade of fantastic characters was never-ending!

There’s another day of festivities tomorrow (June 26) from 10 to 4 at the Ford Wyoming Center. If you come up to join the fun, be sure to stop by our booth (#58) and say hi!

Group Six is going to Casper Comic Con!

Are you heading to Casper Comic Con on June 25 & 26? We’ll have a booth there and would love to say hi and geek out talking all things fantasy and sci-fi.

Print copies of Group Six and the River will be available at special show prices, plus we’ll be giving away two free copies of the audiobook, one each day. All you have to do to enter is sign up for Ron’s mailing list at the show.

It’s Publication Day!

Today is the day Group Six and the River is officially released. If you’ve ordered a print copy through Amazon, we understand there may be about a two-week delay. This is due to an Amazon policy, and there’s nothing we or our publisher can do about it — sorry! E-books and audiobooks should be going out on time.

If you’re in the Casper area and would like to support local business, you can pick up a copy at the following locations:

Getting from brain to book cover …

Ron has been asked to provide some notes for the cover of the second Group Six adventure (Group Six and the Crater). He wanted one of the mutant monsters that live in the irradiated Wasteland to appear. Sure, he could have sent the description — he’s a writer, after all — but it seemed like more fun to use pipe cleaners to create a model. Then he hung it from the cats’ fort to photograph it. And … it seemed at home among the holiday decorations, so it stayed.
